Reception rooms
A room for every occasion
For all your receptions and seminars, we propose three reception rooms of different styles, plus a conference room.
THE NOTABLES ROOM
Ideal for weddings and business lunches or dinners.
The former Tonnellerie of Château MAUCAILLOU, built in 1871, can welcome up to 280 people standing for a buffet lunch, or 220 people comfortably seated around 10-person round tables for more formal dining. The exposed stone walls are frequently hung with the works of international artists. The room is entirely air-conditioned and possesses a traditional Médoc fireplace, for a note of conviviality on winter evenings.
Music and entertainment can be arranged by request.
The Park
For groups:
Château Maucaillou welcomes groups from May to September for open air events, in the shade of its plane trees. An original and relaxed setting in which to enjoy a finger buffet. Reserved for groups of 40 people or more.
In case of inclement weather, the picnic will be organised in our reception room, without extra charge.
For weddings:
This wonderfully green space is included in the privatization of the Chateau for your wedding, and is the perfect place to hold your welcome cocktail. In case of inclement weather, the vatroom will be opened for your reception. This unique space offers a panoramic view over the barrel hall. This solution will allow you to organize your event with all serenity.
The Maucaillou Vatroom
From April to August, outside of the vinification period, the vatroom can accommodate up to 200 people for a stand-up lunch, or 150 people seated for lunch or dinner. Guests can enjoy the panoramic view over the barrel hall through the glass doors. This room can be heated.
The Conference Room
Perfect for business meetings
Equipped like a cinema, our conference room can seat up to 90 people. Its professional audio-visual equipment will enable you to organise the projection of all your digital presentations on to a big screen.
